In-Home ABA

During in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy sessions, the therapist works in the family’s home. Based on the assessment results and family consultation, the behavior analyst designs a multi-component intervention package to teach the child new skills, including communication and independence skills.

 

 Insurance companies often cover the costs of ABA therapy sessions. However, the insurance policies that the behavior therapists must follow to receive reimbursement, don’t always align with best behavioral practice or ethical decisions.
